  1. you work looks great. i agree with you about the possibility of user generated password… i tried to do on regular WP but since it was a hack on wp-admin (WP 2.0.x, before wp signup hooks) i lost it during an upgrade and never bothered to do it again.

    I wonder, how did you get your recent comments? I use sitewide feed to get them, but i havent been able to pull the excerpt.

  2. To do recent comments we implemented code that reads through all of the blogs from the wp_blogs table and shows the recent comments from all the blogs.

    We narrow the list by only checking blogs that have been updated recently.
